Starting over

As a family we have been richly blessed, with wonderful extended family and great friends in our lives. Without any of you we wouldn't be who we are. We love you all and thank you for your support as we start over and continue on our new adventure through life.

Kevin was so excited last night to receive his first big boy bed! We were able to find two twin beds that make into bunkbeds. It also came with a dresser/desk.

Nate takes 3rd

Nate has been doing 4-h and competed in his first event today. Nathan, Nate, and Josh traveled down to Florence, AZ to see Nate compete.
Nate took 3rd place in Barrels..TIME: 34.68
4th in goat tying. He had the goat tied and when he was done the goat got one leg out...TIME:
124.31
and 6th in the Poles..TME:42.20
He did really good. He ended up riding Silkie Runner for all events and took it nice and easy with him, because this was new for the both of them.
He earned eight points for the event which
adds up through all the other events. For places in the end of the year.
Good job Nate! Keep up the good work!

Student of the month Baby!!

Josh was chosen for student for student of the month for September. The school has a assembly where all the kids are invited, they call it Pride Day! A different grade takes a turn each month performing a program in front of the school. This month was 5th graders which worked out perfectly. I got to be there to see Josh win this awesome award and see Nate perform.
SOOO COOL!

Josh has worked so hard for the award. He is an awesome student and we are so proud of everything he has accomplished.

BRYAN LOST HIS FIRST TOOTH!

Bryan saw Josh starting to loose his teeth and decided he wanted some money and told me Mom, i have a loose tooth. I told no you don't your to little, but sure enough a week later out it pops with another coming in close behind it.

SAMMYS WALKING!

I WAS SO EXCITED!!
I was so afraid I would miss Sam taking his first steps..But he saved them for me
. I was home after work, trying to relax on the couch and he decided to stand up and walk over to the cooler a little ways away from him.. I don't have a picture of that, but I do have an attempt soon after walking from dad to a 4-wheeler the boys have. I have been so lucky I was sure I would miss all his firsts, but somehow I have been there for them. I feel so blessed to be a part of every moment.

Payson

For the Fourth of July weekend we decided to go camping with some friends of ours. We ended up taking the horses too..which was a lot of fun. We joined the Hyman's and Brice's. Along with us I brought a friend from work and her boyfriend.
The boys love getting up here and playing and enjoying the nice cool weather. They get to go quadding and don't forget about crawdad fishing. I do believe this is there favorite.

Shanna hasn't been horse riding since she was a little girl, so a chance for her to ride again was quite exciting.

First Day of School

Seriously where does the time go: These boys use to be my babies... Now Nate is in 5th ( big man on campus this year)..Josh 3rd... and Bryan 1st... I can't believe how much they are growing and changing. This year was the first year I was not able to take them to school. Nathan had to fill in and my yearly privilege. I missed being there for them and taking this step with them, I know they were in good hands as they went forward to the next chapter in there life. It was a very hard day that day as I missed out on this, but like I said they were in good hands.
Nathan is already planning on running for student council and taking part in band and chorus. Josh wants to play baseball. Bryan wants to play soccer. Reach for the stars boys! Were right here behind you.

Silkie Runner

We recently added a third horse to our family. With Nathan being drawn for deer and Jessie not in the position to go hunting this fall. We have been looking for another. We came across a free Thoroughbred.. Seven year old. He came off the race track. Silkie is a really good horse, we can't find much wrong with him. He doesn't spook very easily and seems to be dominant over the girls, but doesn't hurt them. This boy is tall 17 hands plus..I rode him for the first time Friday evening and it sure was a jump to get up into that saddle. It is a little different owning such tall horse. Nathan and have always been partial to our mustangs..But Silkie is really growing on us..

Josh's Baptism

Josh was baptized March 28, 2009 at the Apache Junction Stake Center in Apache Junction Arizona
(Joshua and Nathan showing some closeness before the baptism)
Josh looks so handsome and grown up in his new suit that brings out those gorgeous big green eyes of his!

(Josh and Grandpa Dorathy...the Lord is w
aiting for this one to join his church!)
(Josh and Grandpa Watson)

What
a gorgeous day for Josh to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! The sun was out, shining with a gorgeous blue sky. With a light breeze drifting through the trees. The day wasn't hot or cold just perfect! A beautiful March afternoon!
Josh was excited for this day he could not keep the smile from his face. When we arrived Nathan and Josh went and got changed into their white clothes.
During the program they asked for people to bear their testimonies. I was busy taking care of the twins, trying to pay attention..but not really when I realized little Nathan had gone up to bear his testimony. I was so impressed with this 10yr old boy of ours. He took his scriptures up with him and read from them and bore his testimony on the Holy Ghost.
It was soon our turn where we all were ready to watch Josh take this wonderful step in his life.
I am so proud of Josh! It has been such a joy to watch him grow to this point in his life.
I love feeling the Spirit when the Lords precious children are being baptized! The Spirit is so strong!(Our family! I just love to look at pictures of all of us!)
(Brandon, Liz, Ben, Issac, Jonathan, Josh..& soon to be..)
(Joe, Jenn, Taylor, & Josh)(Richie, Krystal, and Josh)(Grandpa and Grandma Dorathy & Josh)

After the baptism we all went home and had sub sandwiches with ice cream sundaes to celebrate

Josh's birthday! Being he turned eight today also.
The boys enjoyed there cousins and friends as they took time to jump on the trampoline and of course pose for some snap shots...camera lovers! This turned out to be such a fun day! I feel so blessed to have six well rounded boys.. who love the gospel and show it.
We love you Josh! Congratulations!

Krystal and Richies Wedding

After months of planning and shopping it finally paid off. To see Krystal and Richie so happy!
The sealing went beautifully. With all the love ones inside to witness. It was so wonderful to see Krystal in her wedding dress.
After the sealing we rushed around for final items needed. With the help of Theresa she finished up little things. When I finally got back to the reception site I did the last minute touches and made sure everything was ready to go. The reception was a blast with tons of people showing up and having lots of fun!
The reception was beautiful! Above all Krystal and Richie were so happy!
That is the best of all!
