Starting over

As a family we have been richly blessed, with wonderful extended family and great friends in our lives. Without any of you we wouldn't be who we are. We love you all and thank you for your support as we start over and continue on our new adventure through life.

SAMMYS WALKING!

I WAS SO EXCITED!!
I was so afraid I would miss Sam taking his first steps..But he saved them for me
. I was home after work, trying to relax on the couch and he decided to stand up and walk over to the cooler a little ways away from him.. I don't have a picture of that, but I do have an attempt soon after walking from dad to a 4-wheeler the boys have. I have been so lucky I was sure I would miss all his firsts, but somehow I have been there for them. I feel so blessed to be a part of every moment.

Payson

For the Fourth of July weekend we decided to go camping with some friends of ours. We ended up taking the horses too..which was a lot of fun. We joined the Hyman's and Brice's. Along with us I brought a friend from work and her boyfriend.
The boys love getting up here and playing and enjoying the nice cool weather. They get to go quadding and don't forget about crawdad fishing. I do believe this is there favorite.

Shanna hasn't been horse riding since she was a little girl, so a chance for her to ride again was quite exciting.

First Day of School

Seriously where does the time go: These boys use to be my babies... Now Nate is in 5th ( big man on campus this year)..Josh 3rd... and Bryan 1st... I can't believe how much they are growing and changing. This year was the first year I was not able to take them to school. Nathan had to fill in and my yearly privilege. I missed being there for them and taking this step with them, I know they were in good hands as they went forward to the next chapter in there life. It was a very hard day that day as I missed out on this, but like I said they were in good hands.
Nathan is already planning on running for student council and taking part in band and chorus. Josh wants to play baseball. Bryan wants to play soccer. Reach for the stars boys! Were right here behind you.

Silkie Runner

We recently added a third horse to our family. With Nathan being drawn for deer and Jessie not in the position to go hunting this fall. We have been looking for another. We came across a free Thoroughbred.. Seven year old. He came off the race track. Silkie is a really good horse, we can't find much wrong with him. He doesn't spook very easily and seems to be dominant over the girls, but doesn't hurt them. This boy is tall 17 hands plus..I rode him for the first time Friday evening and it sure was a jump to get up into that saddle. It is a little different owning such tall horse. Nathan and have always been partial to our mustangs..But Silkie is really growing on us..
