Starting over

As a family we have been richly blessed, with wonderful extended family and great friends in our lives. Without any of you we wouldn't be who we are. We love you all and thank you for your support as we start over and continue on our new adventure through life.

Bass Pro Shop Christmas

We went down to visit Santa at the Bass Pro Shop, we had heard he was making a stop there. So we loaded everyone up and drove down there. We had a lot of fun! The boys got to write a letter to Santa and color a picture. Then going to the Bass Pro Shop is always a treat for them, they love to see all the fish and animals. The boys got to shoot air guns at targets and practice their hand at hunting.

Bryan did it again

Okay with a family of SIX boys there never seems to be a dull moment around here..It seems like I can never keep something posted to long before I have to add something new..Anyways ok so 11-13-08 the boys and there friends were over to playing on the trampoline. I had just gotten in the shower when I heard Nathan scream Bryan's name. I cam running out to find Nathan carrying him inside and setting him on the counter. Bryan had broke his arm again! He landed and went to catch himself and it went backwards. Nathan took him to the ER where they found he broke both bones, nice clean brakes. So he stayed in the splint for awhile, and had to stay home from school until he could get in to see the orthopedic doctor. Well we went and saw him today where they took more x-rays and then finally put a cast on him. Of course he chose a blue one! We go back in a week to make sure none of the bones moved! He gets to endure this cast for five weeks. Bryan is actually totally excited to get back to school. Poor boy was so bored at home for three days!
Bryan was as cheerful as these flowers to get back to school with is friends and brothers.

AHHH a weekend away from it all well most of it...

Our wonderful friends/neighbors invited to us to spend the weekend with them up at their dad's cabin in Payson. It was a quick little vacation but so needed. After stopping at Wal-Mart for a few things.
(I love that Wal-mart in Payson, we always find tons of cool things there). We got up there Saturday afternoon and spent most of that day getting acquainted with his dad and the kids checking everything out. Denny's wife made a delicious dinner. Lydia cooked BBQ Ribs and chicken, with mashed potatoes and Baked Beans...It was so GOOD! I have to keep telling her that..
The next morning we ate a wonderful breakfast, helped his dad with a couple of things around the cabin.

Nathan taking a hold of Sam while I played with the twins, this wonderful husband is always willing to help out when I admit to needing help.

Nathan and I took all the boys for a walk down to the creek where we got to take a couple pictures of the boys! We didn't get to stay to long, because it was so COLD! The wind was blowing and it looked as if some type of storm was going to blow through.
Sam, Devin, and Kevin

Nathan, Josh, Bryan and the boys friend Jay. They all look just a little cold!

Josh took some time to look and see what all was in the river as it floated by quickly!

On our way home, coming down at of the mountains of Payson we hit some rain, just enough to make the truck look dirty. We arrived home to WINDY weather, which made it nice and cool here.

It was so nice to get away out of town for a short while and can't wait to go back again.

T.J. and Jolenes Wedding

After a long month of planning and preparing the day finally came. With three babies in tow almost every step of the way, and all of family life going on. We managed to pull off another great and beautiful wedding. I had the help of my dear friend Theresa who is always there to help me when I need it. This time she out did herself and made a beautiful cake! Such an awesome cake! Way to go girl!
The them for this wedding was fall and what a perfect time with the weather turning and fall in the air. We go to use the beautiful fall colors everywhere. We had such fun planning this wedding. The wedding took place at Jolene's parents
house. Where it provided the perfect set up for an outside wedding. We used there balcony and made an awesome arch, decorated with white fabric and flowers. The flowers used on the arches were my creation, which I think turned out pretty good. I would have loved to brought those home, but they were Jolene's. Oh well I can make more! Well it was an awesome wedding!

BRAINIAC!!

Ok in the Spirit of Halloween.... ok well not quite! Krystal had asked me to help her make a brain cake. It was her turn to take snacks to her class and she had the crazy idea of making a brain cake...MMM... ok....

So last night we attempted this crazy idea. we had no idea how to make Marshmellow fondant, so after getting help from her friends Allison we went at it.

We ended up having so much fun working with that stuff, I think I found my new best friend! JK! With Krystal, Nathan, and I we all got a little creative and started thinking of new things we should add. I hope her class enjoys the cake and hard......

well FUN WORK!!

Family Reunion

Info on our Family Reunion:

OK update on the family reunion...
We are going to end voting early on where to stay. Dad and I decided to choose Nehalem due to the bigger campsites.
If you are not up for camping or bringing an RV, there are motels, condos, houses, etc you can rent that are in Cannon Beach, Seaside. Etc. Cannon Beach is about a 20 min. drive to Nehalem.
As for Lunch we are going to have a potluck, everyone bring their own dish to share. The Lunch will be held at the host campsite. Along with activities. Our rough draft agenda is as follows:

Friday night anyone who wants to come visit at the host campsite is more then welcome we will have smores and hot chocolate going. (We are planning on reserving site B27 so you can plan accordinly.) As long as our fire is burning ya'll are welcome.

Saturday: The family can start to gather around 10:00am where the family is welcome to visit and hang out..
12:00-2:00 pm lunch and games
2:00pm: Family auction/raffle
3:00pm: Family meeting (more games for kids)
4:00pm: Family Group Pictures
6:00pm: Time to say goodbye
Anyone sticking around is more then welcome to join us for a potluck dinner at the host campsite, or join us at Mo's (Depends on what we feel like eating or I should say if we feel like cooking...)

As we get closer to next July we will be sending out family group records for everyone to fill out and update, please make copies and bring them with you to the reunion. We would love for pictures to be included. We are going to help Rita out some more with those awesome albums she has been so diligently working on.

Along with that we will be taking pictures during the reunion any that are taken will be put on a cd, if you would like a copy we ask you pay us before you leave and we will see that you get one. The cost will be around $4.00 to cover the cd and shipping.

We would like to know the number of kids that will be attending next year, so we can plan games and activities.

Again please pass this message on to family.... We are excited hope to see ya'll there ready to play and have fun!!

Which is Grander the Canyon OR Family?

We had a lot of fun in the Kaibab. We got up there Thursday night, okay early Firday morning (like 2am). Friday we hung around the campground and got to visit with family and let all the cousins play. Saturday we visited the Grand Canyon where the boys got to see it for the first time. We really enjoyed the cool weather, it was awful to come back...
