Starting over

As a family we have been richly blessed, with wonderful extended family and great friends in our lives. Without any of you we wouldn't be who we are. We love you all and thank you for your support as we start over and continue on our new adventure through life.

Our New Adventure

We FINALLY started our journey to OR late Saturday night, we said goodbye to our house. With a couple of us shedding our tears, we said goodbye, piled into our vehicles. We drove to Globe where we all quickly went to sleep..

Sunday morning Nathan went to work on getting the camper on the truck and last minute stuff needed.Monday about 9am July 12th we finally pulled out of Globe....We left out through Roosevelt, saying goodbye to Guayos...:(... We were going slowly but going.. We came up to strawberry were got stuck in construction..ughh.. Finally got moving and going up the hill when all of the sudden the Suburban stopped going uphill on a blind corner...when comes up behind me my night in a shinning silver truck...He pulls in front of me with his trailer, hooks on a chain to his trailer and to the suburban and pulls me up the hill.. with no problems... GO DODGE!!
Once we got to a pull out, Nathan checked it out to see what was going on..couldn't find anything.. so he ran back down to strawberry were he got some oil. Little Nate and I hung out with the truck and played UNO while we waited..along with getting some sun on my white legs.. (worked well got one nice and red..ouch..) When Nate got back the truck started up and we went on our way pushing for Flagstaff. About 20 miles down the road..the truck stopped again..ughh.. this time a much safer place..so we stopped and hung out playing UNO..Finally cooled off and went on our way..Then one more time it stopped. While stopped a couple Bryan and Josh got out to stretch, Josh and Bryan were climbing on a log when Josh said Mom, Dad Look what I found...a log! (Josh is always good to offer a laugh when needed) Then we made it in to Flag where Nathan changed out the Fuel pump for the 4th time..Record time..While sitting at Auto Zone..I told Nate..I wonder if you were born under a car..u seem to always be under one.... After he was done it was getting dark..so we grabbed burger meat, and so on..We gassed up and drove down the road. We decided to stop at Sunset Crater where we pulled off and got camp set up..made dinner and went to bed squeezing five out of the six boys in the overhead bed of the camper. Nathan and I squeezing onto half a twin bed..where little Nate slept on the floor..MO outside..
I went to bed that night with my thoughts turning to the Pioneers.. The struggles they went through to do what they knew the Lord wanted them to do. I was so glad this day was finally over....

July 13th...we loaded everyone up, got on the road by 7:30 am..Truck was running great..no problems..We stopped at one of the side stops on the Navajo Reservation, to buy the boys some jewelry to remember AZ..We stopped and picked some out. After back on the road and the lady wishing us luck. The tire on the trailer blew..ughhh it is always me! So we pulled over, Nate got that taken care of quickly then on our way.. We decided to stop in Page to get two brand new tires for the trailer at Big O Tires...Grabbed some lunch at McDonalds and on our way..
We made a quick stop in Kanab for gas..then on ward we go..
When we came into Panguitch I needed a much needed break, and to wake up..We found a park outside of Panguitch where we let the kids play and I stole some cute pictures..
Afterwards we made a push for Preston, ID where my Aunt Linda lives..We made to her place about 11pm..Once there and in we ate some nummy meatballs with rice and coleslaw..Put the babies down, talked till 3ish then went to bed..

July 14th...we took our time getting ready, let the boys play and run..while we visited with Linda and Kent. Finally about 12 pm we pulled out for the last leg of our trip...(THANK GOODNESS)
With no problems, but a lot of construction down to one lane each way..we finally made it into Nyssa, OR. As we pulled up to the Lane, I let Nate out to run down the lane..The boys were so excited. They got out and ran all over with MO..While running they scared up a doe with a fawn..Dad said when he pulled up he scared out a buck..

July 15th..where does the time go..We planned on getting into town early and getting some groceries and gas in the RV.. finally after just doing some work we didn't get out till almost 3...Where we rushed for groceries and ran back to the farm to get Nathan and the boys to go to my sister Amanda's for dinner.. Where we got treated to Pork Ribs, Coleslaw, corn and watermelon.. I am so full!
While we were in town Nathan and the boys saw turkeys and more deer..and we saw a fox run in front of us while leaving..

Tomorrow Nathan and my step Brother Randy will be leaving back for AZ to get our three girls.. Oh I miss our horses! I can't wait to see those girls again! They are going to love it here! So peaceful and quiet out on the farm!

....I'll add pics when I have more time...almost 10 pm here and I am a bit tired...
